Looking for easy holiday dishes? This Cuban Garlic Pork Tenderloin recipe is a dish that the whole family will love. Delicious and so easy to make. It's one of my most popular recipes for holiday entertaining. The best part is after you do your quick and easy prep, the slow cooker does the rest.
The key to this dish is the combination of citrus and garlic with the juicy pork tenderloin. To make the base for the slow cooker I used The Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic Base. The Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic base is a great way to add that roasted garlic flavor to your dishes without having to roast garlic. Talk about being able to save time without sacrificing flavor. Click HERE so you can check out all the flavors they offer. For more great recipes follow this LINK.
Here's what you need:
2 lb Pork Tenderloin Trimmed
2 Tbsp Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic base
1 Onion Sliced
1/2 Cup Orange Juice
1/2 Cup Lime Juice
1 Tsp Cumin
Avocado Oil for the Pan
Salt
Pepper
Here's what you do:
Trim any fat off your tenderloin
Heat the avocado oil on your pan. I like Avocado Oil because of the higher smoke point.
Sear the tenderloin to add some color. A couple of minutes on each side. Remove from pan No color = No flavor.
4. Without cleaning the pan, throw in your chopped onion and cook them down a little while using the fat from the pork left in the pan for flavor.
6. Now add The Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic base, Orange Juice, Lime Juice, Cumin, and Onions to the slow cooker.
7. Heat on high for about an hour until the internal temperature of your tenderloin reaches 145 degrees.
8. Slice the pork and serve with onions and some of the juices from the slow cooker.
